Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of dental hygiene. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture images of teeth and gums for diagnostic purposes.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatments in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to oral health and dental procedures.
Familiarity with medical coding systems relevant to dental practices is preferred.
Experience with patient care and excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
