Our patient centered high-technology dental practice is looking for a reliable, motivated, detail-oriented Front Office Manager. Ideal qualities include enjoys communicating with people (bubbly personality!), has strong organizational capabilities, able to multi-task, and willing to learn. Must have excellent and professional telephone and personal communication skills. The objective is to ensure smooth front office operations and that office production goals can be achieved. This is currently a part time position that will expand to full time in the future. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to grow with our office into a leadership position with higher compensation.

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in a Dental Front Office setting.
Strong computer literacy and familiarity with dental and general office software programs.
Experience and familiarity with insurance verification and billing, pre-authorizations, collections, patient financial arrangements, and efficient clinical scheduling.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism in all interactions within the office environment.

Responsibilities to include:

Demonstrate strong customer service skills
Greet patients in a friendly and professional manner
Answer phone calls and confirm and schedule patients
Able to verify insurance coverage and process patient information accurately
Maintain patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
Assist with billing and financial transactions, including collecting payments
Coordinate with dental providers to ensure efficient patient flow
Follow HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
Manage medical records, including filing, organizing, and updating as needed
Willing to learn basic dental terminology
Attentive to details and have good organizational skills
Make follow-up calls for treatment and recall
Assist with other office duties as requested or needed
Have a strong work ethic and be a reliable employee

Schedule: 3 days per week; Tues, Thurs, Fri with a goal of moving to 4 days per week in the coming months.
