```Duties```
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, removing plaque and tartar, and applying fluoride treatments
- Take and develop dental x-rays (medical imaging) as directed by the dentist
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and documenting medical history
- Maintain accurate patient records using EagleSoft or similar software
- Follow strict infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique during procedures
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques, such as CAD (computer-aided design)

```Qualifications```
- Valid dental hygiene license in [state]
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Proficiency in using EagleSoft or similar dental practice management software
- Experience with medical imaging for dental x-rays
- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and techniques
- Ability to perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs
- Knowledge of aseptic technique to maintain a sterile environment
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy
- Excellent communication skills to educate patients on oral hygiene practices
