About Us:
Hometown Dental Clinic is a patient-centered dental practice committed to providing exceptional care in a warm and welcoming environment. We are currently seeking a dependable and experienced Dental Receptionist/Insurance Coordinator to join our team. This part-time position is for 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday.

Position Overview:
As the first point of contact for our patients, you’ll play a vital role in creating a positive experience while managing front desk operations and coordinating dental insurance matters. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and knowledgeable in dental billing and insurance processes.

Schedule:

· Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

· Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

· Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

· Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional demeanor

· Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments

· Verify dental insurance benefits and coverage

· Submit insurance claims and follow up on outstanding claims

· Collect payments and review treatment estimates with patients

· Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries

· Maintain accurate and organized patient records

· Assist with additional front office administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in a dental office front desk or insurance role—however, willing to train the right candidate

· Familiarity with dental practice management software—our office uses Eaglesoft

· Strong knowledge of dental insurance and billing procedures

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
