We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of office management within a healthcare setting. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of the clinic, enhancing patient satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
Supervise staff, including dental assistants and administrative personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Oversee financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, and collections to ensure the financial health of the practice.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with JCAHO standards and other regulatory requirements.
Implement utilization management processes to optimize patient care and resource allocation.
Coordinate with insurance companies for managed care contracts and ensure proper handling of claims.
Develop and maintain office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
Ensure that all office systems are functioning effectively, including scheduling software and patient management systems.

Experience

Proven experience in office management within a dental clinic or similar healthcare environment is essential.
Familiarity with financial management practices specific to healthcare settings.
Experience in supervising staff and managing team dynamics effectively.
Knowledge of JCAHO standards and regulations governing dental practices is preferred.
Background in utilization management or medical records management is advantageous.
A nursing background or experience in managed care can be beneficial but is not required.
