Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to promoting oral health. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental services, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice within our dental clinic.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and hygiene needs.
Conduct cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth using appropriate instruments and techniques.
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluorides to patients' teeth.
Review medical records and document treatment plans accurately in the patient management system.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in four-handed dentistry by working collaboratively with dentists during procedures.
Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Utilize Eaglesoft or similar systems for effective documentation and patient management.
Support the dental team in maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Experience in general dentistry preferred, with knowledge of dental clinic operations.
Proficiency in documentation review and familiarity with medical records management.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Prior experience with Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems is a plus.

Pay: $40.77 - $42.14 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 34 per week
