Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? The Chicago Dental Society Foundation (CDSF) Clinic is seeking a Spanish Bilingual, Part-Time Dental Assistant/Front Desk Receptionist who feels called to help others.

About Us

The CDSF Clinic provides essential dental care to low-income residents of DuPage, Cook, and Lake counties. We are proud to be the only dental foundation in Illinois that owns and operates a clinic staffed entirely by volunteer dentists. Our mission is to improve access to quality dental care for those who need it most.

Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Dental Assistant who is fluent in Spanish and eager to expand their skills by cross-training as a Front Desk Receptionist. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a mission-driven organization that values service, teamwork, and community care.

As a key member of our small, supportive team, you will assist volunteer dentists in providing high-quality dental care to patients and help ensure smooth front desk operations. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, be flexible and reliable, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced clinic environment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help others are essential.

You'll work closely with volunteers, staff, and patients from diverse backgrounds and have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve every day.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a dental assistant
X-Ray Certified
Fluent in Spanish and English
Willingness to be trained to work as a Front Desk Receptionist
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to professionalism, compassion, and teamwork
