Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the office runs smoothly and efficiently while providing exceptional patient care. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a thorough understanding of dental office procedures and regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and overseeing staff activities.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
Coordinate financial management tasks such as billing, insurance claims processing, and payment collections.
Provide medical administrative support by assisting with patient inquiries and managing communications between patients and dental staff.
Utilize dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix to maintain accurate patient records and streamline office processes.
Oversee human resources functions including hiring, training, and performance evaluations of office staff.
Implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and improve patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with healthcare management teams to ensure quality care delivery and adherence to industry standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in office management within a healthcare setting; dental or veterinary experience is a plus.
Familiarity with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Excellent financial management skills with experience in billing and insurance processes.
Ability to provide effective medical administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service excellence.
Relevant certifications or training in healthcare management or related fields are preferred but not required.
