Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information
- Maintain patient records and update medical/dental history
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Handle patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Manage office supplies and inventory

Experience:

- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with dental procedures is a plus
- Proficient in administrative tasks such as scheduling, record keeping, and billing
- Experience with dental software systems such as Open Dental is highly desirable but not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
