Pay Range: $200,000 - $225,000 per year
Schedule: Flexible - Full-Time, Part Time

What You'll Be Doing:

As our Dentist, you’ll play an integral role in providing exceptional care for our patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Examinations & Check-ups: Perform dental exams and routine check-ups to assess oral health and hygiene .
Acts as a primary care provider in the treatment of patients who present for dental care and provides emergency palliative treatment, making referrals as appropriate. Keeps accurate and complete records of patient care and related activities. Maintains electronic record in accordance with DOH and state mandates, including but not limited to: Meaningful Use requirements, PMP Narcotic Database, and monthly chart review standards.
Diagnosis & Treatment: Diagnose dental conditions, treat cavities, gum diseases, and oral infections, and develop care plans.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, detailed records of all patient care, treatments, and procedures.
Collaborate with Providers: Work closely with other medical professionals to ensure coordinated care for each patient.
Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
Licensure: Licensed to practice dentistry in New York State.
Experience: Familiarity with New York State Dental Medicaid guidelines is a plus.
