We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for performing preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the health of patients' teeth and gums.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the identification of oral diseases and conditions through medical imaging and examination techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and observations.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with the dental team in pediatric dentistry, providing specialized care for younger patients.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Proficiency in infection control measures and medical imaging techniques is highly desirable.
Knowledge of anatomy related to general dentistry is essential for effective patient care.
Experience or training in pediatric dentistry is a plus, as you will be working with children as part of your role.
Familiarity with dental assisting practices will enhance your ability to support the dental team effectively.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $80.00 - $81.00 per hour
