We are a brand new Periodontal office seeking a reliable, professional, and motivated individual to step into a temporary hybrid role as Office Manager and Chairside Dental Assistant while our current office manager is out of the office for a few weeks. This is an excellent opportunity for a dental assistant looking to transition into a leadership or management role, or for an assistant with some front office/admin experience who wants to expand their skill set and potentially stay on long term. Compensation based on experience.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Oversee daily office operations to ensure a smooth and professional patient experience
Chairside assist the doctor during procedures (From exams to surgeries)
Present treatment plans and confidently review financial responsibilities with patients
Collect payments and handle out-of-network insurance documentation (no insurance billing)
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient communications
Take panoramic and CBCT X-rays (training provided if needed)

What We’re Looking For:

Dental assisting experience (required)
Comfortable around blood
Must be knowledgeable in OSHA compliance, sterilization protocols, and maintaining a clean, safe clinical environment
Some front office or administrative experience preferred
Strong communication and professional presentation—you are the first face and voice of the office
Confidence with treatment plan presentations and discussing finances
Available to start Monday, August 11
Someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently
Open to candidates interested in potentially staying on long-term as our Lead Assistant
