Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting our dental team in delivering exceptional services. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic, maintaining patient comfort, and supporting various dental procedures.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulations.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft or Epic for patient records management.
Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and medical coding when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Knowledge of medical documentation practices is beneficial.
Experience with 3D scanners and medical imaging technology is a plus.
Skills in managing reception duties, including scheduling and patient communication, are advantageous.
A strong understanding of vital signs monitoring will enhance patient care capabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $23.05 - $27.76 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
