Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care plans and ensuring smooth operations within our medical or dental office. This position requires strong administrative skills, including insurance verification and familiarity with medical terminology. The Treatment Coordinator will act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that all necessary information is accurately communicated and documented.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients prior to treatment.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical coding and documentation of care plans.
Assist patients in understanding their treatment options and financial responsibilities.
Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar efficiently.
Provide administrative support to the healthcare team as needed, including answering phones and responding to inquiries.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the medical or dental office.

Requirements

Previous experience in an office setting, preferably in a medical or dental environment.
Strong understanding of insurance verification processes and medical terminology.
Familiarity with medical coding practices is highly desirable.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Proficient in managing care plans and coordinating patient services.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
