Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the dental laboratory, responsible for fabricating dental prosthetics and appliances that meet the specific needs of our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, medical documentation, and laboratory procedures. The Dental Technician will work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Duties

Fabricate dental prosthetics including crowns, bridges, dentures, and orthodontic appliances based on specifications provided by dental professionals.
Utilize various laboratory equipment and materials to create accurate and durable dental products.
Maintain detailed records of all work performed, ensuring compliance with medical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dentists to understand patient needs and make necessary adjustments to designs.
Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance fabrication processes.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental laboratory setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
Familiarity with dental fabrication techniques and materials is advantageous.
Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, vital signs, and dental terminology is beneficial.
Experience in dental assisting or working within a dental office environment is a plus.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality is essential.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
