Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated EDDA/Clinical Lead to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the dental professionals in delivering high-quality treatments. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, the latest dental technologies, and the ability to lead our clinical Team. Our Mission Statement is quite simple "Encouraging our patients to make healthy choices".

Duties

Lead/train/supervise our clinical Team - communicating duties and expectations to your clinical Team and Doctor(s)
Ensure seamless patient care by keeping our Doctor(s) humming smoothly in our state of the art clinic.
Master the latest dental technologies (CEREC; All on X; 3D Printing; and more). Train your clinical Team how to use them.
Prepare and maintain dental equipment and supplies.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions.
Track & manage lab cases. Track and manage large cases.
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
Assist with scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and maintaining a clean and organized dental office environment.
Take and record vital signs of patients as necessary.

Skills

Proficient in taking dental x-rays and operating dental imaging equipment.
Knowledgeable in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices, including charting patient information accurately.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.
Experience in dental assisting procedures, such as chairside assisting, instrument sterilization, and tray setup.
Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, preferably Eaglesoft.
Knowledge of medical coding for dental procedures is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5-10 years experience preferred

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
