Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Office manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice. You will be responsible for providing excellent administrative support, managing patient records, and assisting with various office tasks to enhance the overall patient experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare management, along with excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Greet patients as they arrive and assist them with check-in procedures.
Manage appointment scheduling and confirm patient visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Process patient information and insurance claims efficiently.
Provide administrative support to dental staff as needed, including managing correspondence and filing documents.
Ensure the office environment is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Supervise junior staff or interns when necessary to ensure adherence to office protocols.

Skills

Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry.
Experience in medical administrative support within a clinic or hospital setting.
Proficiency in managing medical records and understanding healthcare management practices.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with patients and team members.
Experience in office management or supervising staff is a plus.
