Elm Family Dentistry is an institution of West Springfield. We are a general dentistry practice that focuses on providing comprehensive, quality care to our patients. We work to develop a long-term treatment plan based on our patients' goals for their oral health -- we do not simply guide our patients from one dental emergency to the next!

Our dentists provide general and rehabilitative dentistry that can be truly life-changing, such as cosmetic dentistry, full mouth-rehabilitation, and full-arch implant restoration.

Many of our patients have been with the practice for 30+ years, and our team shares a similar sense of stability; our team members are treated very well and they tend to stay with our office for decades. There is a great office culture that spans generations from recent graduates to a hygienist with nearly 40 years of experience.

Overall, our office is known for its customer service, so excellent customer service skills are a must.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Take radiographs including full mouth series and panoramic (our radiographs are fully digital)
Other tasks normally expected of a dental assistant

Applicants must have an active CDA/RDA license in Massachusetts and must have experience working with digital radiography and electronic dental records. Pay will be commensurate with experience and skills.

Tuesday 7:45am-5:00pm
Wednesday 7:45am-5:00pm
Thursday 7:45am-5:00pm
Friday 7:45am-3:30pm

There are multiple paid holidays and paid days for professional development. No weekends.

Pay and Benefits

Base pay is $25-30/hr based on experience with additional monthly bonus based on overall practice performance which can add up to an additional $5/hr. Employees start with two weeks paid time off and earn an additional week the fifth year of employment. We offer a 401k plan that involves 3% safe harbor contributions and profit sharing contributions. Additionally, healthcare and a dental benefits plan are offered.

Principles

While we bill our services to insurance companies as a courtesy to our patients, we are out-of-network with all insurances to prevent third parties from interfering in our patients' care. Additionally, we are staunchly anti-corporate and anti-private equity. Treatment decisions are made between our patients and their healthcare providers with no external pressures.

You will be supported by excellent, caring treatment coordinators and hygienists.

Dr. Cole Archambault and Dr. Elizabeth Boig Larkum have completed multiple continua in comprehensive dentistry. In addition to general dentistry, our dentists perform comprehensive procedures such as full-mouth rehabilitation, full-arch implant restoration, and comprehensive cosmetic dentistry. You will learn a lot working side-by-side with our talented dentists!
