Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dental clinic. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Duties

Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients.
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Manage medical records and documentation accurately to ensure compliance with regulations.
Perform basic dental procedures such as taking x-rays, impressions, and assisting with prosthodontics.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and billing.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain an aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry by creating a welcoming environment for young patients.

Qualifications

Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred.
Knowledge of medical records management, medical documentation, and medical coding is beneficial.
Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft is an advantage.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $17.00 - $30.00 per hour
