Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures. This role requires a strong understanding of infection control, patient assessment, and effective communication skills to educate patients about their oral health. Must have Washington, DC license. Monday - Thursday, 8:30-5, 1 hour break. Parking available

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient care in compliance with regulations.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for younger patients.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture necessary diagnostic images.
Adhere to strict infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive care.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:

Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental setting.
Proficient in anatomy knowledge relevant to dental hygiene.
Familiarity with medical records management and documentation standards. .
