Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join our busy and active orthodontic practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for improving smiles through orthodontic treatment. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, as well as providing exceptional patient education and support throughout the treatment process.

Our Orthodontists work with a full staff every day and have team members with all levels of knowledge and skills, including Leads and Managers with years of orthodontic experience.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive examinations of patients to assess orthodontic needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and diagnostic records.
Utilize various orthodontic appliances and techniques to align teeth and jaws.
Perform procedures such as braces application, adjustments, and removals.
Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient treatments and progress.
Collaborate with other dental professionals, including general dentists, pediatric dentists, and specialists in endodontics or prosthodontics when necessary.
Educate patients and their families on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining treatment plans.
Stay updated on advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
Strong skills in patient care with a focus on creating positive experiences for patients.
Proficiency in medical documentation practices, including familiarity with systems like Open Dental, Dolphin or Epic.
Knowledge of anatomy relevant to orthodontics, including dental structures and facial morphology.
Experience or knowledge in related fields such as root canal therapy, endodontics, pediatric dentistry, medical imaging, and general dentistry is highly desirable.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.

Hours vary, and we are open to a part or full time orthodontist. Considering new grads, and relocating providers for this role.

Pay: $1,400.00 - $1,700.00 per day
