Overview

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Dental Practice Manager to lead our clinical team and ensure a smooth, efficient, and patient-centered environment. This role focuses on overseeing and supporting clinical staff—particularly dental assistants—to uphold high standards of care, workflow efficiency, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, conflict resolution, and team development skills, with experience in a dental or healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate daily clinical operations, ensuring a smooth patient flow and efficient back-office procedures.
Supervise and support dental assistants, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability.
Create and manage clinical staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient workload distribution.
Foster a collaborative, respectful, and high-performing clinical team environment.
Conduct regular team check-ins and performance evaluations to support professional growth.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA and other regulatory standards within the clinical team.
Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving staff-related concerns and supporting conflict resolution.
Collaborate with dentists and hygienists to streamline care delivery and implement best clinical practices.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a dental or healthcare clinical setting.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on team-building and performance management.
Deep understanding of clinical workflows and staff coordination.
Working knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain a positive clinical culture and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
A degree or certification in healthcare management, dental administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.22 - $31.49 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
