We are a friendly and dynamic dental office dedicated to providing high-quality care to our patients.

We recently remodeled & updated our office and are seeking a Dental Office Receptionist & Hygiene Coordinator to join our amazing work family.

Work Schedule is as follows:

Mondays - 7:15 AM to 5:30 PM

Tues - Thursdays - 7:15 AM - 4:45 PM

Fridays - 7:15 AM to 12:45 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Receptionist Duties:
Greet patients and visitors with a friendly, professional attitude.
Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits.
Check-in and check-out patients, manage patient records, and ensure all patient and insurance information is up to date.
Perform insurance verification, process and receive billing inquiries & payments.
Assist with filing, correspondence, and general office tasks as needed.

Hygiene Coordinator Duties:
Schedule and confirm hygiene appointments to ensure optimal patient care and office flow.
Communicate with patients to ensure they are prepared for their appointments (pre-appointment instructions, paperwork, etc.).
Assist & support the hygiene team with managing patient records, charting, and treatment plans.
Monitor and track patient treatment progress, and ensure timely scheduling & follow-ups.
Support the dental team by coordinating patient care and ensuring a seamless experience from check-in to check-out.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; dental office experience is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with Dental Office Managment Software like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Open Dental, (especially Open Dental as we recently switched to use Open Dental).
Knowledge of dental terminology and insurance procedures is preferred or willing to be trained while also investing in learning such outside of work hours.
Positive, patient-centered attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
Prior experience in a dental office is a plus but not required.
