Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene in our dental clinic. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, educating patients on oral health, and assisting the dentist in various procedures. Your expertise in infection control and patient management will ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our patients. You will have an hygiene assistant which allows you to make up to $62 per hour with our bonus system.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patient oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment.
Utilize Dentrix software for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry, ensuring a positive experience for young patients.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance overall patient care and clinic efficiency.

Requirements

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Knowledge of infection control practices and general dentistry principles.
Familiarity with medical coding related to dental procedures is preferred.
Experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $50.00 - $62.00 per hour
