We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Front Office to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental practice, ensuring smooth operations and a positive experience for our patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a thorough understanding of dental terminology, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
Verify insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing.
Review and maintain accurate documentation of patient records and health information management.
Answer phone calls professionally, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.
Manage medical collections by following up on outstanding balances with patients.
Utilize medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers.
Maintain organized medical records in compliance with privacy regulations.
Assist the dental team with administrative tasks as needed to ensure efficient office operations.

Skills

Proficiency in office management practices and procedures.
Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes related to dental care.
Excellent documentation review skills to ensure accuracy in patient records.
Familiarity with health information management systems and practices.
Exceptional phone etiquette for effective communication with patients and staff.
Understanding of medical terminology, particularly in relation to dental care.
Experience in medical collection processes is a plus.
Knowledge of dental terminology is highly desirable.
