Full or Part Time

We are a private practice looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients. New graduates are encouraged to apply for this position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for oral health and be able to provide preventive dental services such as teeth cleaning, scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, and X-rays. The successful candidate will also be responsible for educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and providing excellent customer service. In keeping with our high level service commitment, we book one hour for adult appointments.

Responsibilities:

Clean teeth and examine patient's mouth for signs of oral disease.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, plaque control, and nutrition.
Take and develop dental x-rays.
Remove calculus and stains from teeth.
Apply preventive materials to teeth such as sealants and fluorides.
Perform root planing as necessary.
Document dental history or chief complaint; prepare standard laboratory tests and select materials for impressions.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17 – 34 per week
