Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Dental Assistant to support dentists during patient procedures and ensure the smooth operation of the dental office. The ideal candidate will be well- organized with great attention to detail and be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care.

Responsibilities:

Update and maintain patient health guidelines
Schedule patient appointments
Take x-rays, pano and CBCT
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Set up and turnover clinical rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all materials are stocked and ready.
Assist the doctors with complex dental procedures
Adhere to all OSHA and HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Dental Assistant license in the state of California
Current CPR certification
Dentrix, Dexis/DTX experience
Team player, works well with others
Eagerness to continue learning and growing as an assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Strong communication, interpersonal, and patient education skills.
A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
