Dental Hygiene Coordinator/Dental Front Office Assistant

Full time position

HOURS: Mondays; Tuesdays; Wednesdays; Thursdays 7:30-AM-5:30PM; FRIDAYS 8AM-12PM half day. Two Fridays a month until 2:00pm.

Pay Hourly starting at $24.00 raises based on time and performance.

We have an opening for a patient hygiene coordinator. We are located in beautiful San Clemente and Dr Johnson has been taking great care of our patients for over 16 years and Dr. Khamis with our office one year with overall experience of 13years . We strive on being the best and providing a positive environment for our patients and our staff.

We are looking for a positive team player that possess excellent organization skills, communications skills, and willing to help front and back office. We are a small but very fast pace busy office with three hygienists and five working chairs for treatment.

Job Responsibilities:

* Providing great customer service in person and over the phone.

* Have a kind and welcoming phone voice

* Confirm and Schedule patients for hygiene treatment.

* Consistently work on recall to keep hygiene schedule full.

*Complete Insurance verifications prior to Patient visits to determine coverage and enter data into Dental software.

* Knowledgeable on Dental insurance and terminology.

* Scan patient documents to charts.

* Filing new patient and medial update forms.

*Checking emails

* Ordering office supplies

* Be comfortable using computer and entering data.

* Run payments and assist in checking out patients when needed.

*Knowledge of basic dental terminology and procedures.

*Assisting in stocking office supplies.

* Sending x-rays and referrals via email to other offices

* Patient communication follow up.

* Checking voicemail messages and returning phone calls.

* Checking Weave communication texts and responding to patients.

*Assisting hygienists with patient charting on Dental software.

* Keeping work station and office clean and organized.

Job responsibilities for back office

*Helping dental assistants clean treatment rooms in the back office.

* Help clean dental instruments and run through sterilizer

* Help keep back office stocked with dental supplies

Requirements/ Qualifications:

* 1 year of Dental office experience is “very preferred”

* Experience on Dental software “preferred”

* Punctual and reliable

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Professional and courteous phone etiquette

* Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask.

* Knowledge of internet browsers, word documents, and basic keyboard skills.

* Willing to be cross trained to help in areas of need.

* Good time management skills.

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
