Job Overview
Low pressure Carmel NY office seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry. The Dentist will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing various dental procedures, and ensuring compliance with all health regulations. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to patient education, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

$700 a day vs 35 percent of gross production. Hygienist production is calculated into gross production. Lab costs not deducted from production. Wednesday and Friday, 9am - 5pm.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies
Ensure infection control protocols are followed to maintain a safe clinical environment
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care
Stay current with advancements in dental technology and techniques, including medical imaging and aseptic techniques

Requirements

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
Valid dental license to practice in the state of employment
Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred
Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $700.00 - $4,000.00 per day
