Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Billing Manager to oversee our billing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing billing operations, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent analytical skills and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the billing team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee the preparation and distribution of invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Monitor billing processes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and improve overall customer satisfaction.
Analyze billing data to generate reports for management, highlighting trends and areas of concern.
Ensure timely collections of payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards related to billing practices.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
Proven experience in a billing or accounts receivable role, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
Strong understanding of billing software and financial reporting tools.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.50 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
