Treatment Coordinator (TC)

Position Overview:

The Treatment Coordinator plays a key role in our orthodontic team by ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience from the initial consultation to becoming a new patient. This role requires excellent communication skills to clearly present treatment plans, convert prospective patients into committed ones, coordinate appointments, and manage financial discussions with patients and their families. The ideal candidate will be skilled in relationship-building and providing exceptional patient care throughout the treatment process.

Proficiency/Experience:

A suitable candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a dental or orthodontic setting, focusing on patient coordination and treatment planning.

Accountabilities (including, but not limited to):

Greet and assist patients and their families during visits.
Address patient questions and concerns with empathy and clarity.
Collaborate with orthodontists to develop and present customized treatment plans.
Ensure patients fully understand their treatment options and processes.
Discuss financial arrangements, including insurance coverage, payment options, and financing plans.
Prepare and provide accurate estimates for treatment costs.
Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently.
Send reminders and follow-ups to ensure timely visits.
Maintain accurate and organized patient records, including treatment notes and financial documents.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy.
Provide educational resources about orthodontic procedures, oral hygiene, and post-treatment care.
Assist patients in understanding the importance of adherence to treatment plans.
Act as the primary liaison between patients, orthodontists, and clinical staff.
Facilitate effective communication to enhance the patient experience.
Proactively address and resolve any patient issues or concerns.
Escalate complex matters to the appropriate staff when necessary.
Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on orthodontic trends, technologies, and best practices.
Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
Take dental records on every patient.
Digitally scan patients.
Present treatment plans.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
