Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our pediatric dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and assisting in the overall management of patient oral health. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care in a comfortable environment. Benefits are dependent on part time or full time status.

Duties

Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Document patient care accurately in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures as needed, ensuring a positive experience for younger patients.
Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Skills

Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.
Proficient in taking vital signs and conducting thorough patient assessments.
Knowledge of dental terminology and medical terminology relevant to patient care.
Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a dental office setting, demonstrating teamwork and professionalism.
Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Pay: $50.00 - $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 17.0 – 36.0 per week
