Overview
We are seeking a friendly, approachable, and adaptable Orthodontic Assistant to work primarily in our Oxford location, with some travel required to our Pell City office throughout the month. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in an open clinic setting and possess outstanding communication skills, a passion for face-to-face patient interaction, and the ability to work effectively with people of all ages.

Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during patient appointments and procedures
- Take dental x-rays and photo sets for patient chart
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical histories
- Provide chair-side assistance during orthodontic treatments
- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed

- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout their visit.

- Provide clear and effective communication with patients and staff

-Adapt to a fast-paced work environment and be open to learning and growing with our practice.

-Travel between our Oxford and Pell City locations as required.

- Cross training other in-office positions

Qualifications

-No prior experience in orthodontics required, but a willingness to learn and be open to constructive feedback is essential. (Experience welcome)

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work well with patients and team members of all ages.

-A friendly, positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
