Project Manager
to lead our residential installation operations.

This role blends field experience with operational oversight—ideal for a candidate with a background in exterior home repairs and a strong ability to manage multiple crews, schedules, and customer expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Oversight & Scheduling

Plan and manage day-to-day operations of roofing, siding, and window projects across Charlotte.
Schedule jobs with installation crews and coordinate timely delivery of materials.
Pull permits as required by local jurisdictions and ensure compliance with municipal regulations.
Track job progress and proactively manage delays, changes, or on-site issues.

Customer & Crew Management

Serve as the primary contact for homeowners—communicate timelines, progress updates, and address concerns professionally.
Onboard and manage installation crews; ensure all work meets company quality and safety standards.
Maintain constant communication with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Field Support & Quality Control

Diagnose and resolve job site issues related to roofing systems, siding, skylights, gutters, and other exterior components.
Conduct field inspections, QC reviews, and site audits using photographic documentation.
Ensure proper installation and repairs of shingles, flashing, fascia metal, ridge vents, etc.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites.

Back-End Operations & Documentation

Use CRM software to document job notes, materials used, change orders, and customer communications.
Process and approve invoices, submit job changes, and ensure accurate job costing.
Register product warranties with manufacturers and handle post-installation customer follow-up.
Prepare reports, perform picture audits, and support job costing reviews.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:
3+ years in project management, construction operations, or home exterior installations.
Hands-on background in roofing, siding, or window installation/repair strongly preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with hand/power tools, tape measures, and metal brake usage.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and CRM systems.
Understanding of local permit and inspection processes.
Leadership & Communication:
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple ongoing projects.
Excellent communication skills with both field crews and customers.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable with fieldwork in varying weather conditions
