Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Dental Receptionist (Benefits Coordinator) to join our team at First Nations Community HealthSource in Albquerque. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring smooth operations at our dental clinic, contributing to our mission of delivering comprehensive healthcare services to the community.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and manage front desk operations efficiently.
Schedule appointments, as well as, making reminder calls
Handle patient inquiries with professionalism.
Maintain accurate patient records and manage billing processes.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations in all patient interactions.
Assist in the management of dental records and documentation.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure optimal patient care.
Handle insurance verification and collecting copay payments.
Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or similar role in a healthcare setting.
Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service.
Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus but not required.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
