We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral health, performing preventive dental procedures, and assisting the dental team in delivering comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft software, ensuring all information is up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in a general dentistry setting.
Stay informed about advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in ongoing professional development.

Skills

Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and dental terminology relevant to patient care.
Strong patient assessment skills to identify oral health issues effectively.
Knowledge of anatomy as it pertains to dental health.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
