Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care and a commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in dentistry. This role involves working collaboratively with our team to deliver comprehensive dental services, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations, including medical history reviews and dental examinations.
Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.
Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Engage in effective communication with patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, and preventive care.
Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
Stay informed about advancements in dental technology and practices to continually improve patient outcomes.

Skills

Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix is preferred.
Strong understanding of dental terminology and medical terminology related to patient care.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures.
Ability to perform root canal therapy and other complex dental treatments effectively.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques for accurate diagnostics.
Demonstrated experience in infection control practices within a dental clinic environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills for building rapport with patients of all ages.
