Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthodontics, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a team of dental professionals to ensure the highest standards of care.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including oral examinations and medical history evaluations.
Develop individualized treatment plans for orthodontic patients, utilizing advanced techniques and technologies.
Perform various orthodontic procedures, including the application of braces, aligners, and other corrective devices.
Collaborate with general dentists and specialists in areas such as pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics to provide comprehensive care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients and their families on oral health practices, treatment options, and post-treatment care.
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during all procedures.
Stay updated on advancements in orthodontic technology and techniques to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
Completion of an accredited orthodontic residency program.
Valid state dental license and board certification in orthodontics.
Proficiency in dental software such Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices.
Experience in four-handed dentistry and familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and assessment.

Base Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,600.00 per day
