Office Manager & Operating Room Coordinator – Pediatric Dental Practice

Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan

Hamilton Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Manager & Operating Room Coordinator to oversee front office operations and manage hospital-based scheduling. Our practice is dedicated to creating a positive, compassionate environment for children and families while delivering excellent dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily front office operations (scheduling, patient flow, billing, insurance, etc.)

· Supervise and support administrative team members

· Coordinate and schedule patients for dental treatment under general anesthesia at the hospital

· Communicate with hospital staff, surgical teams, and families to ensure smooth case preparation

· Manage required documentation, pre-operative instructions, and follow-up communications

· Ensure compliance with office policies and healthcare regulations

· Track financial reporting and practice performance goals

· Promote a welcoming and professional patient experience

· Insurance processing is managed externally through iCore Claims, reducing administrative workload and allowing you to dedicate your time to patient care coordination and office management.

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in dental or medical office management strongly preferred

· Familiarity with dental insurance, billing, and scheduling systems (Eaglesoft experience a plus)

· Proficiency with computers, technology, and practice management software; ability to learn new systems quickly

· Experience coordinating medical or dental procedures in a hospital setting preferred

· Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
