Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dental Technician to join our Prosthodontic practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the fabrication of dental appliances and assist in various laboratory functions. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and the ability to work with organization.

Duties

Aid with the fabricate dental prosthetics, including crowns, bridges, dentures, and diagnostic wax up with CAD/CAM and traditional methods.
Utilize dental practice management software for patient assessment and dental records management.
Perform benchtop scanning using 3Shape E3.
Adhere to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques to enhance laboratory efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in a dental office or laboratory setting is preferred, with familiarity in dental fabrication processes.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical coding is essential.
Experience with EMR systems such as Dentrix is highly desirable.
Ability to perform chairside assisting duties effectively while maintaining patient comfort.
Proficient in the use of laboratory equipment.
Understanding of infection control practices and aseptic techniques is crucial for maintaining a safe work environment.

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
