Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dental Office Insurance/Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care while navigating their insurance benefits and treatment plans. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in dental office administration, with a solid understanding of dental terminology and insurance processes.

Duties

Coordinate patient insurance verification and eligibility to ensure accurate billing and coverage.
Assist patients in understanding their treatment plans and insurance benefits, providing clear explanations of costs and payment options.
Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment notes and insurance information.
Work closely with dental providers to ensure all necessary documentation is completed for insurance claims.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirming patient visits, and following up on outstanding claims or payments.
Provide administrative support within the office, including answering phones, greeting patients, and managing correspondence.
Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and procedures to effectively assist patients.

Requirements

Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology/procedures is highly desirable.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
