Insurance Treatment Coordinator

Location: Advanced Dentistry of South Florida – Delray Beach, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | Paid Working Interview Required

We are seeking an experienced Treatment Insurance Coordinator who thrives in a detail-driven environment, confidently manages complex financial conversations, and ensures every patient feels informed, secure, and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Key Responsibilities

Confidently present treatment plans with empathy, transparency, and clarity.
Translate complex insurance benefits into easy-to-understand language.
Submit and track pre-authorizations and predeterminations promptly.
Set clear expectations for payment plans, timelines, deductibles, and co-pays.
Build patient trust by offering solutions, not pressure.
Document all financial conversations to ensure accuracy and continuity.

Treatment Tracking & Case Coordination

Monitor treatment progress and follow up on unscheduled cases.
Track remaining insurance benefits and re-engage patients proactively.
Prevent overpayments, delays, and refund issues.
Partner with scheduling and billing teams to keep workflows aligned.

Billing Compliance & Documentation

Ensure accurate procedure posting in Dentrix.
Assist with CDT coding and benefit applications.
Maintain thorough financial documentation for each patient.
Resolve billing discrepancies with external teams when needed.

Patient Experience & Communication

Deliver a calm, professional, and non-salesy approach to financial discussions.
Help patients understand the value of treatment, not just the cost.
Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and compassion in every interaction.

Qualifications

Required:

5+ years of experience in dental treatment planning, insurance verification, or patient financial coordination.
Proficiency with Dentrix, insurance portals, and digital records.
Strong knowledge of CDT codes, PPO breakdowns, and dental terminology.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

Experience in high-end or multi-specialty dental offices.
Background with cosmetic, implant, or full-mouth reconstruction cases.
Familiarity with third-party financing or flexible payment solutions.
