Part-time or Full-time Dental Hygienist Join Our Close-Knit Portsmouth Dental Family!

We’re an established, family-focused dental practice located in beautiful downtown Portsmouth, NH, and we’re looking for a friendly, skilled, and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team!

One of our wonderful team members is cutting back after 30 amazing years, and we’re hoping to find the right person to grow with us. We're looking for a new team member to join us starting after January 1st 2026. Our office is truly a dental family; a close-knit group of professionals who’ve worked together for years and take pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment for both our patients and each other.

Current schedule needs:

Tuesdays: 7:45 am – 6:00 pm
Wednesdays: 7:15 am – 5:00 pm
Fridays: 7:15 am – 3:30 pm
Optional: Thursdays

What you’ll do

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments, ensuring optimal oral health for all patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize dental software for patient records and documentation review.
Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and proper medical terminology.

What we’re looking for, Hygienist Qualifications:

Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program (associate or bachelor’s)
Valid state license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) and in good standing
Current CPR/BLS certification
Excellent clinical skills in prophylaxis, scaling/root-planing, charting, radiography and preventive care
Strong interpersonal and communication skills: you enjoy educating patients and working with a team
Detail-oriented, comfortable with maintaining hygiene records, infection control, and working efficiently
Positive attitude, reliability, and genuine commitment to patient-centered care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 18 – 34 per week
