Our well-structured dental office in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a reliable and professional Insurance Coordinator / Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our exceptional team. We pride ourselves on having amazing doctors, supportive staff, and a positive work environment.

Position Overview:
This multifaceted role includes answering phones, verifying and checking insurance benefits, credentialing doctors, presenting and following up on treatment plans, and collecting payments. The ideal candidate is well-spoken, kind, responsible, and works effectively with both patients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility
Assist with credentialing of doctors with insurance companies
Present treatment plans clearly and compassionately to patients
Follow up on pending treatment plans and insurance approvals
Collect payments and manage billing communications
Collaborate with doctors, staff, and patients to ensure seamless care coordination

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional, kind, and responsible demeanor
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
Experience with dental insurance verification and treatment coordination preferred
Detail-oriented and organized
