Seeking Dental Lab Technician for a Prosthodontic office.

We are a boutique prosthodontics practice dedicated to providing high-quality restorative dental care. We are seeking an experienced dental lab technician to join our team-oriented office. Candidate will be the sole lab technician and should be excited and willing to learn new procedures.

Position Summary:

The Dental Laboratory Technician will work closely with the prosthodontist and clinical team to design, fabricate, and adjust a variety of dental prostheses and appliances. This position is ideal for a technician who takes pride in craftsmanship and thrives in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Pour and trim models; mounting casts accurately.
Fabricate removable dental prostheses including custom trays, base plates and wax rims, denture teeth arrangement and festooning, processing acrylic dentures, bleaching trays, essix retainers, etc.
Fabricate basic fixed dental prostheses including bis-acyl and PMMA provisionals, zirconia crown staining and glazing, temporary implant-retained restorations, etc.
Design restorations using CAD technology, specifically with Exocad software
Maintain a clean and organized lab space, including tracking all cases.
Office duties such as ordering lab supplies and cleaning the lab.

Qualifications of Lab Technician:

Must have at least 5 years of working as a lab technician (CDT preferable)

Must be computer savvy and able to use a lab scanner, ExoCad, and computer savvy in general

Must be comfortable working closely with a team

Benefits for Lab Technician:

Pay: Competitive compensation based on level of experience and competency

Schedule: Three-day work week; Approx. 24 hrs/week Tuesday-Thursday. If additional case load available, opportunity to come in on Monday, Friday, or weekends.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
