Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assistant Dental Technician to join our team. Digital dentistry experience preferred--Exocad experience preferred, staining and glazing ceramics preferred. The ideal candidate will be motivated to be part of a great team and collaborate with our 3 dental offices as well as our lead dental technician to aid in case intake & organization, communication with our offices, coordination & scheduling, deliveries to our offices and helping our lead technician in producing high quality restorations in an efficient, organized manner. They will be expected to help with 3D printing/finishing/glazing/polishing, milling, sintering, staining and glazing while overseen by our lead technician. This position requires a moderate understanding of dental terminology, technical skills, and the ability to work with precision tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

Oversee all case intake, put into our tracking software and updated daily
Communication with our doctors/assistants as needed for additional data, etc
Weekly tracking of cases in/out and redos
Invoicing at month's end all completed cases and sent to each individual offices
Driving (gas stipend) to each offices as needed for case deliveries
Help our lead technician in utilization of Exocad for CAD design of crown & bridge, removable appliances, surgical guides and all on x designing
Aid our lead technician in nesting and milling or 3D printing dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, surgical guides, hybrid restorations and orthodontic devices according to specifications provided by dentists.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.
Operate various laboratory equipment including exocad software, 3D printers (Formlabs & SprintRay), Roland wet & dry milling machines, sintering and porcelain furnaces, etc.
Collaborate with dental professionals to understand patient needs and adjust designs accordingly.
Keep detailed records of all work performed and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Willing to invest in training and growth of their design/ceramic capabilities over time

Skills

Proficient in dental terminology to effectively communicate with dental staff.
Some Exocad experience is preferred.
Some experience with 3D printing and processing/finishing is preferred.
Some experience with nesting and milling is preferred.
Some experience with Miyo staining and glazing is preferred.
Some experience with smile design and cosmetics is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for handling intricate tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
