Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental equipment and supplies
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and trimming study casts
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Provide support to front office staff as needed

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software is a plus
- Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Proficiency in dental assisting procedures, including chairside assisting, taking impressions, and applying sealants
- Understanding of medical coding for dental procedures is beneficial
- Strong patient assessment skills and ability to provide compassionate care
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
- Experience with medical documentation and maintaining accurate medical records
