Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our orthodontic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our orthodontist. This position requires a strong understanding of dental assisting practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with the doctor and our patients, both children and adults in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Provide assistance to the Orthodontist while performing procedures .
• Properly greet patients, communicate with patients about how they are doing with the braces/aligners/appliance and getting the patient ready for the doctor's eval and instructions for the appointment.
• Cleaning, sterilizing and set up of instruments and appliances.
•Able to scan patients, assist in Bonding and Banding, wire removal and placement,Records taking
• Assist with office duties including maintenance of patient records, ordering supplies, assist in consults, answering phones and scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.

Taking X-rays
. Taking pictures
ITERO scanning.
Able to use a dental practice software, for records and patient education ( Dolphin Imaging)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 32 per week
