We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Orthodontic Lab Technician to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the in-house fabrication and repair of a variety of orthodontic appliances, working closely with our orthodontists and clinical staff to ensure the highest quality of patient treatment outcomes.

Duties

Fabricate a variety of orthodontic appliances, including retainers, aligners, and other custom devices, following detailed work orders and prescriptions.
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including 3D printers, scanners, and traditional lab tools.
Trim, shape, and polish appliances and devices using a variety of hand tools and power tools.
Repair damaged appliances, including replacing linings, wire sections, or missing parts.
Collaborate effectively with the orthodontic team to ensure case accuracy and patient satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of lab work and patient information.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols (OSHA) and quality standards within the laboratory environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Prior experience as an orthodontic lab technician or dental assistant is strongly preferred. On-the-job training may be provided depending on experience level.
Strong attention to detail, precision, and excellent hand-eye coordination.
Proficiency or willingness to learn digital dentistry workflows, including CAD software and 3D printing, is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and, at times, patients.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of dental anatomy, occlusion, and materials used in orthodontic appliances.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 43 per week
