Duties

Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and assist with patient intake processes
Schedule appointments accurately using Dentrix dental practice management software.
Manage phone system with professional phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently
Submit dental claims online
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
Perform office management tasks such as data entry, and document review to support smooth clinic operations
Function as part of an excellent team, understanding systems and roles within the practice

Skills

Strong knowledge of dental terminology, CPT coding, and Windows based computer skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with dental practice management software like Dentrix
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle patient inquiries professionally and courteously
Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
Prior clinic or dental office experience is highly preferred; familiarity with insurance verification and dental billing processes is essential
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and office administration tasks
Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives in a busy environment
